Glide Slope Indicators

Glide slope is the angle at which an aircraft approaches the runway during landing. A three-degree angle is considered the safest descent.

To read a glide slope indicator, observe the visual cues on the instrument's display, which indicate whether your approach trajectory is above, on, or below the ideal glidepath. Adjustments are made based on the position of these cues relative to the calibrated markers, ensuring accurate alignment with the desired glidepath.
