Overview
Henkel Loctite® Super Bonder® 422 Series one-part colorless moisture cure instant adhesive resists a tensile strength of 1740 to 3625 psi and shear strength of 3200 psi. The liquid adhesive has a sharp/irritating odor and comes in a 1-ounce bottle. It has a specific gravity of 1.1 and a viscosity of 2500 centipoises. The ethyl-based adhesive has a flash point of 80 to 93 degrees C and a boiling point greater than 100 degrees C. It requires 30 seconds to set and curing time of 24 hours. This product has a vapor pressure greater than 0.5 millimeters Hg at 25 degrees C. It withstands a temperature rating of -65 to 180 degrees F.
